ICG NHS Ester is an amine-reactive form of near infrared (NIR) fluorescent dye. It is widely used to generate a fluorescence signal in imaging applications. The Ex/Em values of ICG are at 785/811 nm, making it ideal for in vivo imaging in deep tissues.  ICG NHS ester readily reacts with amine-modified oligonucleotides or amino groups of proteins to form a chemically stable amide bond between dye and the biomolecule.
